Repairs & Servicing
As with all mechanical items, regular servicing helps to prolong the life of a roller garage door. It is recommended that the servicing of a roller garage door is carried out annually and would include the following:
- Changing batteries in remotes and bottom edge receivers
- Cleaning any sensors
- Checking all straps and springs
- Cleaning of guides
- Resetting motor limits
- Oiling all necessary parts
Occasionally, repairs are needed and we are on hand to help. We carry a full range of components and can replace faulty motors, faulty control panels, photo cells and bottom edge rubbers. All these spare parts we generally keep on our vehicles, however, if we do not carry the appropriate part, we will do our best to order them and return within 2-3 days.
